ANOTHER REVIVAL FOR DUNOON— “COWAL PIPE BAND”

Cowal Pipe Band are still Alive and Well and busy concentrating on recruiting new members this year so will only “wisely” be entering the minor competitions. The band has been downgraded to grade 4A due to small numbers so they will be recruiting and practising hard to regain their former Glory.

This is good news for all you folk organising events this year as the band will be available and will want to be out and about this summer getting as much experience playing to live audiences. Margaret Macbrayne the Secretary of the Cowal Pipe Band has said she and the bands Pipe Major Scott will popping into the DCR97.4FM studio to chat to Victor and bring every one up to date and give more details of how you can get involved in the bands future plans—keep tuned in.
