COWAL HIGHLAND GATHERING SATURDAY

The big day has arrived, final prparations are under way, the grass is having a final cut, the banners are going up, the dancers and pipers are arriving, the Chieftain is on her way and the sound check is under way in the Ceilidh Tent for Trail West, Gunna Sound and Bags of Rock. Today we have the dancers competing for the The Argyllshire Championship and the World Highland Dancing Championship – qualifiers are listed on the dancing results page. the Pipers are competing for the Cowal Championship plus the drum majors competition. The Male Heavies will continue their competitions and are joined by the Ladies as well as some traditional wrestlers. 
We of course will continue to bring you all the craic and info and we will be joined by our friends at Celtic Music Radio from 12 noon.
