Joining Malcolm and Victor in the Buchanan Suite where two guest both well known to Celtic Music Radio listeners and Dunoon Community Radio listeners, firstly Bill Adair the phenomenally powerful Scottish singer songwriter widely recognised as a renowned interpreter of the poems and songs of Robert Burns who besides being known for his singing is also known to Celtic Music Radio and Dunoon Community Radio listeners as a Radio Presenter.

Bill brought us up to date to what’s happening in his world as he now gets ready for his annual World Tour of Scotland and “Yorkshire” celebrating the music of Robert Burns.

BILL 1

Bill also delighted the listeners and the audience in the studio by playing a few of his favourite songs including his own Lindisfarne who for anyone who has been there on hearing this song will be reminded of the mystical beauty and tranquillity of the island. Bill also treated listeners to the very first radio broadcast of a  beautiful song he has specially written in celebration of Robert Burns which reminds us that even today there are still things to be seen which are still the same as when  Robert Burns first saw them.

Bill Adair and Jerry Rilley

The second guest to chat to Malcolm and Victor was listeners favourite the shy and bashfull Jerry Reilly who’s music is played by both Celtic Music Radio and Dunoon Community Radio.

As you all know Jerry Reilly is a living promotion of his beloved Airdrie Songwriters Club who’s members  including Paul McCluskey, John Boyle, James Beekman and of course Gerry appeared recently on “”Thank Folk its Friday with Ross Macfadyen,  in the CMR95FM studio 1 performing a  live session.

Jerry informed the listeners that the Airdrie Songwriters Club was getting ready to go into the Studio to record their second album later in the year.

Of course Jerry like Bill performed several songs including two new first radio broadcast plays.CMR LOGO CC2015-
