DIZZY DAYZ ANNOUNCED FOR DUNOON

WEDNESDAY 27th To SUNDAY 31st AUGUST 2014  IN AID OF CHARITY

You may have read the article by Gordon Neish in the current edition of the Dunoon Observer and Argyllshire Standard announcing the forth coming Charity Event to be held in different locations in and around Dunoon from Wednesday 27th to 31st August.

To include Town centre locations The Argyll Gardens and the Castle Gardens with excursions to Kirn Gala and a three day “WhistleFest at the Whistlefield Inn this promises to be a real Dizzy Affair for all members of the family local and beyond as everyone gets in the mood and excited for the World Famous Cowal Highland Gathering when Dunoon Community Radio will be informing the world not only what is happening in the stadium  at this prestigious world events but what is happening in and around Dunoon. .

The posters are now going up in and around Dunoon with the distinctive Dizzy Days Logo announcing a programme which the organisers inform us is being added to on an almost daily basis with as the word spreads new artist and entertainers offering their services and members of the local commerce looking to sponsor elements of the event .

The fun starts at 1.00pm to 3.30pm Wednesday at the Argyll Gardens as Dunoon Community Radio becomes the support act to put you in the mood for what has been the main feature on this date for many years the biggest single Local Charity Event the Kirn Gala.

We will entertain you with live music and entertainment with one or two special surprises before we join the crowds at the Kirn Gala where we will continue to entertain from the DCR97.4FM stall, with even more surprises.

As the entertainment draws to an end at the Kirn Gala Dunoon Community Radio will re-boot at the Argyll Gardens to present a very special musical set and light show by our very special Guest the  “Cowal DJ Academy”.
