DCR is pleased to announce the arrival of the latest DJ to take up a permanent residency on the weekly schedules.
At 11.00pm each Thursday from tonight DJ Craig will be presenting BEAT66

A very well known local Dunoon based DJ, Craig is making his mark with his unique style of House Music not only locally but all over the UK
In was during his third year at High School in Dunoon in a media studies class that Craig discovered what he wanted to do with his life.
His class was invited to take part in a media studies exercise held in a Double Decker Bus know by all as the Boogie Bus.

Fitted out by Clyde Broadcasting as a full professional broadcasting radio station the bus visited schools to introduce pupils to a real broadcasting environment and to allow a hands on experience in all aspects of radio broadcast.

Craig and his class mates under the supervision of the Boogie bus team were encouraged to make a complete radio programme his task to control the mixing desk.
The final result and the part he had played that day so impressed him that as soon as he was home from school he was on the internet to discover what was required for a young Craig to join the media as a profession.
Today, having achieved qualifications in Radio Broadcasting , Sound production and with an impressive djing history it is time to take his career to another level and to where his ultimate aim has been –Radio.
Dunoon Community Radio is proud to announce the arrival of Craig Mckittrick  on to the weekly Programme Schedule with his own programme Beat66 each Thursday live from the Argyll Street Studio
This is the ideal start to Craig’s weekend, Radio on a Thursday night on DCR and live djing Saturday in town.
