DUNOON PRIMARY SCHOOL CELEBRATE 60s POP UP SHOP RAISEING OVER £700 FOR SCHOOLDAY IN 60s CLASSROOM

After a very hectic day at thier 60s POP UP SHOP at The BREAS selling school produced Christmas wares including Stocking Fillers,Christmas Treats ,Vinyl Crafts, Paper Weights,Mirrors, Personalised Signs and even Hand Made Cakes the pupils of P6/5 and P7/6 celebrated by letting thier hair down with a 60s theme Disco.

Victor and Stereo Simon from the DCR Roadshow brought tunes from the 60s which the pupils had been learning about as part of thier 60s history lessons and even dancing to some of the dance crazes of the 60s in compertitions including , the Twist, The Loco -Motion , Hippy Hippy Shake,The Freeze (Statues) and just to be completly “in tune” they all dressed up in 60s outfits- Well Done everyone who was involved andv a big thank you to everyone who came along to the Breas to support the pupils.
