SUNSET ARTIST –ALL REVEALED –BUT THERE MAY BE MORE

Last night we welcomed  DEREK MCINTYRE into the studio who after a very successful and hectic weekend compering the BID MOD REVIVAL WEEKENDER is now getting ready to compere the BID SUNSET CEREMONY  which is less than a week. First news is this years Sunset Ceremony has a theme.  After the Introduction performed by artist from the Dunoon Community Radio Revue –just to get you warmed up we will be entertained by artist from all over Scotland including many from Cowal. ‘Tartan and Tradition’ is the theme and what lends itself more to that than, for the first time in a very long time Dunoon’s very own Three Pipe Bands on the same bill. Christina Cairns Dancers will   present no less than three specially choreographed dancers for this event. A World Scottish Highland ion Champion will be making a very special appearance,  as will our very own Tom Irvine making a rare but most welcome appearance. And all this will be compared by Derek McIntyre which as you know by himself would worth every penny of the admission which on this occasion is nought, zero. Zilch absolutely Free  with no charge. We will also have we were informed by Derek not one but two Top Scottish Bands and they are the fantastic  Gunna Sound Ceilidh Band and the band really riding high at the moment Trail West .
