ABLE BODIED (OR ADVENTUROUS) ONLY ON ARGYLL FERRIES
The front page headlines of this weeks Dunoon Observer and Argyllshire Standard have once again provoked comment from several of the listeners “FILM FEST FERRY CUT “ is the headline as the Observer report the announcement by Argyll Ferries of a restricted service with no late sailings as maintenance is carried out on Gourock linkspan.
Argyll Ferries also announced that it will be unable to carry wheelchair or mobility scooter users, or prams until the regular service is restored on Saturday 22nd June as the service will operate from the Kilcreggan Steps.
As Dunoon is gearing up for the very first Dunoon Film Festival, which organisers hope will attract a large number of visitors to the town, it beggars believe that Argyll Ferries has introduced a restricted service with no late sailings as maintenance is carried out on Gourock linkspan.
The reduced service was original scheduled to begin on Wednesday 22th June but was rescheduled
Neil shall be looking at your comments and also those of the Dunoon Gourock Ferry Action Group
