Two Scottish Legends Folk Singer Robin Campbell and Broadcaster Colin MacDonald called into the dcr97.4fm Outside Broadcasting Studio at the Dunoon Stadium on Saturday to say hello to the listeners . Robin brought listeners up to date now he has returned to his Celtic roots enjoying making folk music with like-minded musicians. He regularly performs with folk ‘n’ fiddles trio Celtic Krystal. Robin’s solo set is as fresh as ever and he can be found regularly entertaining audiences in folk venues around the UK and abroad. Robin is currently working on three new solo albums scheduled for release by January 2015.

Colin known to Dunoon Community Radio listeners for his Sturday afternoon programme Folkal Point which he has been presenting on radio since 1974 currently broadcast by DCR’S big brother Celtic Music Radio 95FM, it is also rebroadcast at various times online by Blues and Roots Radio, Ontario and Siar FM on Barra, and we of course Dunoon Community Radio relay the Saturday pm repeat from CMR across the Cowal Peninsula.
