Lochaber Gaelic Choir were winners of the Margrat Duncan Memorial Trophy for Area Choirs, a hugely prestigious award at the Royal National Mòd. Rachel Walker and her new Lochaber choir after winning the Margrat Duncan Memorial Trophy an incredible fantastic debut .
The pinnacle of Fridays competitions at the Mòd was the coveted Lovat and Tullibardine Shield for Are Choirs which was won by this year’s host town’s The Oban Gaelic Choir.
As the final day of competition at this year’s Am Mòd Nàiseanta Rìoghail (The Royal National Mòd) kicks off, it has been revealed that Glasgow will host The Mòd in 2019 – 29 years since the festival was last held in the city.
