COWAL HOSPICE TRUST ANNOUNCE SECOND STADIUM MAY FUNDAY

Cowal Hospice Trust have announced that for a second year there will be a May time Funday funraising event in the Donoon Stadium.
The event this year will take place on the 20th May starting just as the widely advertised Dunoon Triathlon draws to an end.
The Dunoon Presents Triathlon is a pool-based triathlon involving a 400m swim at Hunters Quay Holiday Village , 22km Road bike ride on the coastal road towards Innellan. completing with a pleasant out and back 6km run.
It is hoped that competitors of the Dunoon Triathlon will join in as Funday teams from all over Cowal take part in sponsored walks many in Fancy Dress and many celebrating themes .
The 97.4FM Dunoon Community Radio Roadshow will be giving a running commentary and introducing local talent including entertainers from Dunoon Grammar School, local bands and much , much more………… all to be announced
Registration for teams is so easy so don’t leave it to late and it also helps the organizers in planning to make this years event an even more of a success than last year …………..
