Live from the Buchanan Suite at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

The first live broadcast from the centre of Celtic Connections at The Glasgow Royal Concert Hall at Buchanan Street and Sauchiehall Street in the city centre.

Celtic Music Radio presenters who next week will be joined by Dunoon Community Radio presenters will be chatting to and interviewing Celtic Connections performers, singers, musicians plus live sessions throughout the course of each day.

and the fabulous Danny Kyle Open Stage and as with tradition, the first night of The Danny Kyle Open Stage features the Finalists from last year 2014

Performing tonight will be The Chaplins,

Austen George,

Mischa Macpherson,

Hò-Rò

Arthur Nicolson

and Griogair Morrison.

They open this year’s competition before enjoying support slots during this year’s Celtic Connections.

All The Danny Kyle Open Stage will be broadcast live on Celtic Music Radio 95FM across Glasgow and on Dunoon Community Radio 97.4FM

We must also mention our good friends from GCA for the technical support as once again Audio Technology students from  Glasgow Caledonian University will be running the outside broadcast equipment for Celtic Music Radio broadcasting live from Celtic Connections 2015.
