DUNOON CHRISTMAS LIGHTS “SWITCH ON” AND DUNOON BURGH HALL WORKSHOPS 29th NOVEMBER. Another opportunity to hear Derek MacIntyre tell listeners what they can expect to see on this fun filled day to celebrate the Switching On of the Dunoon Christmas Lights.
BIDPA23 representing the retailers and commerce of Dunoon have organised for your pre – Dunoon Christmas lights switch on a fabulous Christmas market along Argyll Street from 10.00am, a live Reindeer parade at midday, Dunoon Grammar School pipe band (dressed as never seen before ! ?) A Santa Dash for children aged 5-15 (Argyll St) and 3 pm for adults (Argyll St to Kirn and back) Big Rory and Ochie, his chaotic pet dog and a fabulous lantern parade at 4pm and that is just getting in the mood and ready for The Big Show on the Big Stage where X Factor Star Emily Middlemas will be supported by “Dunoon’s Got Talent” Winner Ben Doherty .
Direct from their world tour of Glasgow The Govan Salvation Army Brass Ensemble and Carol Singers will be playing Christmas Carols
Returning to Dunoon and the Big Stage after his outstanding success at this year’s Sunset Ceremony TV, Radio and recording Sensation the ever popular Matt Ramsay.
THE DCR97.4FM REVUE will be taking to the Big Stage with outstanding talent Miss Claremarie Nolan, the man with the voice as smooth as chocolate Dave de Kort, the Singing Swinger Dino Martino .
