IT’S GETTING EVEN BETTER IN JUNE–WE HAVE MAGGIE REILLY VISITING
Written by Archie Fergusson on 12/05/2017
After a great concert here in Dunoon in February 2012 Scottish Singer Maggie Reilly with many record hits to her credit including the smash number one hit in so many countries: Monlight Shadow, returns to raise badly needed funds for Dunoon’s Holy Trinity Church..
Maggie is bringing with her some very talented musical friends including local Dunoon hero and fellow Cado Belle musician and long time music collaborator Stuart MacKillop, Gordon Dougall from Ignatz will be ther as well as Brian McNeil from China Crises.
Maggie will be talking to Derek McIntyre on the telephone in the next few day and we will be listening in. Then when she arrives on Friday 26th May we shall talk to her after her sound check at the High Kirk Hall in Hanover Street with possibly a live song or two. A lot of folk were disappointed that they missed her last time so look out where you can buy tickets. If you are going to the Hospice FUN Day at Dunoon Stadium on the 20th May listen out for our musical tribute to Maggie Reilly
