LAST CHANCE TO BE PART OF THE FAMOUS KEN SYKORA GUITAR CLUB 2012

It was 55 years ago that Guitar Club was commissioned by the BBC. The first show aired on 15th July 1957.

To celebrate the 55th anniversary of the first programme, Ken Sykora Radio Station will be recreating a Guitar Club, to be broadcast on the Ken Sykora Radio Station on Saturday 15th December at 6pm. They invite all guitarists – solo, duo or groups – of all genres, from folk to classical to jazz (and even electric!), to send them  a recording of one of your performances. It can be your own composition or your intepretation of a favorite track, instrumental or with vocal.

This is not a talent show, there are no recording contracts to win and nobody will vote. As with the original Guitar Club, it will just be about showcasing and enjoying the wonderful range of the guitar sounds and styles being played today.
