PINK PARTY RAISE THE ROOF AND OVER £800 FOR CANCER CARE

On Saturday night a fun loving group of ladies filled the function room above SINBADS for the fourth Annual Pink Party to raise funds In aid of Breast Cancer Care. As in previous years the ladies came out to Party and with every one dressed with Pink and with wigs galore that’s certainly what they did dancing away to the music provided by Dunoon Community Radio.
MC for the night the PP team leader Helen did her best to slow down the proceeding occasionally by introducing raffle draws and even a couple of hilarious games of Stand Up Bingo. PP team member Fiona organised a wee buffet for an energy boost for any of the ladies who had started to struggle with the moves for the “Time Warp” or “Y.M.C.A.”
As MC Helen mentioned in her Thank You and acknowledgements the event could not have happened without all who helped organised it, for Sinbads and their wonderful staff, All the local folk and commerce for the wonderful donations for the Raffle and Tom bowler and of course all the Ladies for coming out and supporting the event and for helping to raise over £800 on the night this of course to be added to the £600 raised at the recent sale held in Sinbads………… Photo’s to follow
