Described as a Genuine National Treasure Michael Marra one of Scotlands most prolific Songwriters will be visiting Dunoon’s Burgh Hall this Sunday 25th March for what can only be describe as a genre-generation fusion of music culture.

With the backing band of his Dreams the legendry Dundee singer and songwriter performs with the Hazy Janes a leading Scottish Indie Country/Rock Band………..
The collaboration between these to unlikely elements may have something to do with the fact that the Hazy Jane’s Comprising of Andrew Mitchel, Liam Brennan, Matthew Marra and Alice Marra-yes how observant of you Alice and Matthew are Michaels Daughter and son.

THE WINTER THAT WAS

Houseroom the CD that is the result of this collaboration and already heard here on DCR will be discussed along with Michael and the Hazy Janes next Sunday afternoon prior to the concert in Dunoon’s Burgh Hall in a special two hour programme.
Also joining us will be an old friend from Celtic Connections from An Tobar Tobermory Gordon Maclean who working along side Michael’s Production Engineered Houseroom.
During the run up to the weekend Victor shall be featuring Michaels recording work including the new Album with the Hazy Janes
Luke shall be showcasing the Hazy Jane’s in “Luke’s Anything Goes, But Only If He Likes It” on Tuesday at 10.00pm another good opportunity to listen to this young band quickly making a name for themselves .http://www.dunooncommunityradio.org/programme-info/presenters/luke/
