THANKYOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT AND VOTES FOR THE CO-OPERATIVE REVOLUTION

Thanks to everyone who voted for us in the recent Co-operative Revolution we really appreciated every single vote. DCR were placed thirteenth in the Scotland and Northern Ireland Region. The winners were the Student Volunteers Abroad (SVA) who are working with two projects providing shelter, education and nutrition for some of Bangalore’s most at risk children, well done to them and this very worthy project.                                                                      Our friends at Celtic Music Radio were placed ninth, congratulations to them from all the listeners in Dunoon                                                                                                                                  

Can we just remind all our listeners that there is still time to vote in The Scottish new Music Awards which will be held on Sunday 4 September 2011 from 7.00pm at the Classic Grand venue located at 18 Jamaica Street, Glasgow G1 4QD.                                     

The Scottish New Music Awards have been set up to recognise the burgeoning music scene in Scotland. The event, to be held annually, will honour recipients in approximately 60 categories ranging from Male Vocalist of the Year to Rehearsal Studio of the Year. Unlike many award shows, The Scottish Music Awards will not target major acts only, all aspects of music and all genres of music will be considered. The awards are being divided into two categories.
