The Great West Bay Beach Clean

Well they had a lovely sunny day for their cleanup and I am looking forward to hearing how it went!
CLANN need your help on Sunday 5th April from 2.30pm for a couple of hours. They would like you to meet them and people from the Guides, Scouts, Dunoon Baptist Church, young people from the HELP project, Members of Aoradh, Timebank Volunteers and many more in the West Bay Play Park
What do You need! You should wear clothing and footwear that suits the job and the weather, and gloves (gardening are the best if you have them) They will have plenty of bin bags, a few “litter pickers” for those with creaky backs, some special gloves in case you come across anything nasty and Keep Scotland Beautiful tabards for anyone who wants to make an ehibition of themselves.
Safety Issues? There will be a briefing at the start so everyone knows what to do. If you arrive late please check-in with Simon or Lesley for your safety chat. In the unlikely event of an accident a First Aider will be on hand. Children of primary school age must be accompanied by an adult
What About the Weather? If it is really they may reschedule otherwise they will just get stuck in.
Anything for afters? They hope to have a sausage sizzle after the beach clean so please bring along some bangers for the barby.
