Catriona NicNèill and Dòmhnall Iain MacIlleDhuinn, both from Glasgow, who won the prestigious Gold Medal at this year’s The Royal National Mòd for fluent speakers singing one prescribes song and one of their own choice.
The Highland Dancing took place at Oban High School, with children competing for a range of prizes
German choir, Kantorei Hasleau, who travelled from Northern Germany and learned Gaelic songs to sing at this year’s Mòd. The choir have a vast repertoire in various languages, and range from 19 – 81 year’s old, led by choir leader Michael Horn-Antoni.
