THE FORMER MEMBERS BAND; .A quintessential West Coast U.S psychedelic blues supergroup!.
Tonight Trish shall be telling listeners of her forthcoming 10th May broadcast talking to members of new Supergroup “The Former Members” comprising of David Bennett Cohen, Roy Blumenfeld, Bruce Barthol and Greg Douglass four musicians who back in 1967, all appeared at the the landmark three-day California rock concert “The Monterey International Pop Music Festival” which attracted an estimated attendance of 90,000 with memorable performances from Jimi Hendrix , Janis Joplin and from Briton The Who. Psychedelic legends Country Joe & The Fish, The Blues Project (with Al Kooper) and The Steve Miller Band also appeared at this prestigious and historical event.
The Former Members include core members of these three bands.
