‘FLYING SCOTSMAN’ LEGEND GRAEME OBREE STARTS INAUGURAL DUNOON RUN ‘N RIDE CYCLING SECTION

Champion Cyclist Graeme Obree was on the starting line at 8.00am this morning along with fellow competitors competitors who had registered to compete in the very first Dunoon Run ‘n Ride Enduro event,

Consisting of 3 on road cycling stages and 4 special running stages which start at 11.00AM The organises had managed to arrange a slight drizzle and moderate breeze to keep the competitors comfortable as they set of cycling  through the beautiful countryside coastline and stunning hills around Dunoon.

The town centre will be the hub for this exciting new event and many visitors are expected to join in the events to be held at the Argyll Gardens later today hosted by are very own Derek McIntye.who has been keeping folk informed to what has been  happening during this morning and is now getting ready to chat to some of the many runners who shall be competing in the running .
