MEMORIES OF THE US HOLY LOCH BASE

An enthusiastic audience gathered at the Hunter’s Quay Dolphin Leisure Centre’s Lyle Suite on Thursday 7th May to enjoy an evening of memories of the US Holy Loch Base. The event was held as part of the Holy Loch Communities Homecoming Celebrations with guest speakers: Lord George Robertson, former NATO Secretary General; the Right Honourable Brian Wilson, former British Government Minister, both of whom grew up in Dunoon; Robert McSeveny former local businessman and Gordon Trapp who was Dunoon Provost 1965-68.
Dunoon Community Radio where invited to record the speeches for prosterity, which we were only too happy to do so and shall shortly have them available here for you to listen to.
