ALL THINGS MOD” WITH MARY & JENNIFER –Tonight the girls talk Volunteering for the Mod 2018 and how you can help, they will also be talking Gaelic Choirs and discussing  the new hope for A DUNOON GAELIC CHOIR

A week ago Gill Toosey a recent newcomer to Dunoon came into the DCR97.4fm John Street studio to discuss her Novel “In Mysterious ways”. Off air conversations with presenter Victor regards to her music interest led to Gill sharing with the listeners her idea of looking at reviving the  Dunoon Gaelic Choir which has been welcomed by the local Mod Committee.

Gill told listeners of a prayer from the Carmina Gadelica by Alexander Carmichael and how she is composing music for some of the beautiful poems and prayers including a prayer featured in her book “In Mysterious Ways” called “Gods Aid”

Gill also hopes to take an active part in DCR and will start her on –the-job- training by joining the DCR Broadcasting Team next week in our busiest week of the year promoting on Wednesday the Kirn Gala,
